Content Editor – Leading Online Retailer
One of the UK’s fastest growing online retailers is now seeking dynamic Content Editors to join their content team in south west London as they undergo a period of exponential expansion.

The Company
The company has become one of the UK’s leading ecommerce companies, operating a large number of unique specialty websites. Based in south west London, they are now seeking a number of Content Editors to join their young team of fun-but-focused individuals. The company has enjoyed a period of great commercial success over the past 18 months and has had a significant investment from a leading venture capital organisation.

The Role
You will be involved in the building of new and existing ecommerce website content. Success will be determined by your ability to manage several projects at once while maintaining high editorial standards. Responsibilities
Reporting to a Senior Content Editor and ultimately the Content Manager, you will spend the majority of your time manipulating images and data. You will combine this with an ability to be accurate in your technical detailing of products and compelling in your descriptive copy. You will have a high level of concentration to complete repetitive tasks and to meet set targets on a daily basis. Above all, you will be expected to ensure that the quality of all images and content is exemplary whilst also applying the principles of search engine optimisation within your web content. You will also have an input into the general look, feel and flow of the sites.

Skills and Qualifications
 
• A graduate with a degree
• The ability and willingness to generate product listings including; images, brief descriptions and organising product-related data
• The ability to manipulate images using Photoshop or Fireworks
• A technically focused and data orientated individual who has some knowledge of HTML
• Ability to use industry standard web authoring tools like Dreamweaver to create web pages
