Graduate Support Analyst now immediately required!
Our client is a small multi-national software group with support and development teams in the UK, Belgium, Thailand and Japan.
The Treasury Division specialises in developing, customising and supporting our Windows-based Front Office trading system which is used by a major Japanese bank across Asia, Europe and North America. It is also used by other regional banks in Japan.
They now have one vacancy within their Client Services Group for a good graduate (needs to be a numerate discipline with grade 2:1 or above) with 0-1 year experience. This is a customer-facing role combining implementation, configuration, and second-line support. Initiative and good communication skills are essential. The position will be based in their UK office near Cambridge but may involve some occasional work at customer sites and the possibility of foreign travel.
The key criterion is a strong academic background, 22+ UCAS points or equivalent, 2:1+ numerate degree from a major university and some evidence of an interest in implementing and supporting computer systems. Experience of one or more of: Banking Systems, Sybase, SQL, Visual Basic, Citrix or Windows is also desirable.
The salary will be in the range £20,000 to £25,000 plus package, depending on previous experience.
